Essex Prayer Diary
Holland - on-Sea
Minister: Rev Mark Lawford
Please pray:
- For our pastor in the early months of his ministry with us as he seeks God's leading and direction for the future.
- For our mums and tots group, 'Jumpers' .
- For about 25 un-churched mums who come each week, for friendships to be built upon and for new opportunities. We currently have no young families in church.
- For a clear vision and direction with the children's work. We have very few children/ young people at the present time on a Sunday, although 20+ attend our G Club evening during the week.
- Our pastor as he builds relationships with the local primary school.
- Unity of purpose and spirit as a fellowship
- That we will embrace change and new opportunities.
We thank God:
- For the outreach connections made with our older folk,
- For our Lunch club and Friendship club which provide for the needy and give opportunity to share Jesus.
- For a number of new folk who have come to our family services.
Hornchurch - North Street
Minister:
We thank the Lord for His sustaining grace and power as the fellowship goes through a period of pastoral vacancy. There have been opportunities for ministry and personal growth as various members have stepped in a variety of roles to bless the church family.
Please pray for spiritual guidance, strength, perseverance and vision for the leadership to discern the Lord’s will in the search for a new Minister. Pray for the Lord to provide spiritual nourishment for the congregation, young and old, in the interim.
